Camps Abroad CIC Terms and Conditions<\/h1>\n

By booking, registering, or participating in a Camps Abroad programme, all participants, parents\/guardians, schools, universities, and group leaders agree to the following Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n

1. About Camps Abroad<\/h1>\n

Camps Abroad CIC is a UK-based organisation providing international educational, volunteering, cultural immersion, conservation, adventure, and work experience programmes in Botswana, Ghana, Jamaica, Zanzibar, and other destinations.<\/p>\n

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Camps Abroad programmes unless otherwise stated in writing.<\/p>\n

2. Registration and Booking<\/h1>\n

All participants must complete the required registration documentation before travel.<\/p>\n

This may include:<\/p>\n

  • Registration Form<\/li>\n
  • Indemnity Form<\/li>\n
  • Medical Information Form<\/li>\n
  • Emergency Contact Information<\/li>\n
  • Passport Information<\/li>\n
  • Visa Documentation (where required)<\/li>\n
  • Any additional safeguarding or travel documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Places are only secured once the required deposit has been received.<\/p>\n

    Camps Abroad reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where required documentation is not completed by the stated deadlines.<\/p>\n

    3. Payment Terms<\/h1>\n

    The payment schedule will be outlined in the booking agreement, proposal, invoice, or participant information pack.<\/p>\n

    Unless otherwise agreed:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Deposits are required to secure a place.<\/li>\n
    • Instalment payments must be made by the dates specified.<\/li>\n
    • Full payment must be received before travel.<\/li>\n
    • Failure to make payments by the agreed deadlines may result in cancellation of the booking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Camps Abroad reserves the right to recover any outstanding balances owed.<\/p>\n

      4. Flights<\/h1>\n

      Where flights are arranged by Camps Abroad:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Flight costs may be subject to airline terms and conditions.<\/li>\n
      • Once flight tickets have been purchased, airline cancellation charges may apply.<\/li>\n
      • Any airline administration fees or non-refundable charges will be deducted from refunds.<\/li>\n
      • Flight schedules may change due to airline operational requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Where participants arrange their own flights, Camps Abroad accepts no responsibility for delays, missed connections, cancellations, or additional costs incurred.<\/p>\n

        5. Passports, Visas and Travel Documents<\/h1>\n

        Participants are responsible for ensuring they possess:<\/p>\n

        • A valid passport<\/li>\n
        • Any required visas<\/li>\n
        • Transit visas where applicable<\/li>\n
        • Entry permits<\/li>\n
        • Immigration documentation<\/li>\n
        • Any additional travel documentation required by the destination country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Camps Abroad cannot be held responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, missed departures, or additional costs resulting from incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.<\/p>\n

          No refunds will be provided where travel is prevented due to documentation issues.<\/p>\n

          6. Cancellation by Participant<\/h1>\n

          Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.<\/p>\n

          The following charges may apply:<\/p>\n

          Any non-refundable flight costs, accommodation deposits, activity bookings, visa costs, insurance premiums, or supplier charges will also be deducted.<\/p>\n

          Places may be transferred to another participant, subject to approval and any applicable supplier charges.<\/p>\n

          7. Cancellation by Camps Abroad<\/h1>\n

          Camps Abroad reserves the right to cancel, postpone, amend, or relocate a programme due to:<\/p>\n
