Legae Academy Trip to Lobatse

Lobatse Trip

We are excited to offer students a fun residential trip to Lobatse in partnership with Camp Botswana Children’s Activity Camp. This experience gives students the chance to enjoy the outdoors, build friendships and develop confidence, independence and teamwork skills.

Students will take part in a range of activities such as team-building challenges, outdoor adventures, creative workshops and campfire evenings, all designed to be safe, fun and engaging.

The cost includes transport, accommodation, meals, snacks and all activities. Students should bring a packed lunch for the journey, or money to buy lunch on the way. The trip is fully insured, and payment can be made in full or in monthly instalments due on the 30th to help spread the cost.

Below you will find the key information, itinerary, payment details and forms required to secure your child’s place.

If you have any questions, please contact the school trip lead or email info@campbotswana.org

With swimming, outdoor games, and active challenges, children stay moving and engaged. Being outdoors reduces screen time and promotes healthier lifestyles.

Teamwork & Social Skills

Through group games and shared experiences, campers learn how to cooperate, communicate, and support one another. They build friendships across different schools and backgrounds.

Resilience & Problem Solving

From lighting a safe campfire to completing team obstacle courses, children learn patience, perseverance, and how to overcome challenges in a positive way.

Cultural Awareness & Heritage

Camp Botswana encourages children to understand and appreciate Botswana’s traditions, environment, and community values. Activities often include cultural learning experiences that strengthen identity and pride.
