We are excited to offer students an incredible residential adventure to Kasane in partnership with Camp Botswana Children’s Activity Camp. Located near Chobe National Park, this experience gives students the chance to explore one of Botswana’s most famous wildlife areas while building confidence, independence and teamwork skills.

Students will take part in exciting activities such as safari game drives in Chobe National Park, river boat cruises, team-building challenges and campfire evenings, creating unforgettable memories while learning outside the classroom.

The cost includes transport, accommodation, meals, snacks and all activities. Students should bring a packed lunch for the journey, or money to buy lunch on the way. The trip is fully insured, and payment can be made in full or in monthly instalments due on the 30th to help spread the cost.

Monday 10th August — Arrival & Camp Welcome

Arrive at the Kasane campsite and complete registration.
Receive your Camp Botswana T-shirt, meet your fellow campers and settle into your accommodation.
Take part in fun ice-breaker activities to get to know everyone before camp officially begins.
Evening: Gather around the campfire for camping stories, games and your first night under the stars.

Tuesday 11th August — Chobe River Adventure

Morning: Begin the day with morning exercises before heading out on a nature walk and environmental learning session, discovering the unique ecosystems of the Chobe region.

Afternoon: Cool off with a swim in the pool before enjoying a spectacular sunset boat cruise along the Chobe River, where you’ll have the chance to spot elephants, hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Evening: Campfire, fun and team-building games.

Wednesday 12th August — Victoria Falls Experience

Morning: Start with morning exercises before travelling across the border to visit the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Enjoy a guided rainforest walk to the spectacular viewpoints while learning about the geography, ecology and history of the falls.

Afternoon: Spend time exploring Victoria Falls town and browsing the local craft markets before returning to camp.

Evening: Hot chocolate around the campfire while sharing the day’s highlights and memorable moments.

Thursday 13th August — Chobe National Park Safari

Morning: Begin the day with a hike before setting off on an unforgettable safari game drive through Chobe National Park. Keep your cameras ready for incredible wildlife encounters, including elephants, buffalo, giraffe, antelope and, if you’re lucky, big cats.

Afternoon: Walk across the iconic Kazungula Bridge, where Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia meet, before visiting a shopping centre in Kasane for some free time.

Evening: Campfire, talent show and a fun final evening celebration.

Friday 14th August — Certificates & Departure

Enjoy breakfast before gathering for the certificate presentation and farewell celebration, recognising everyone’s achievements throughout the week.

After final goodbyes, depart Kasane and begin the journey back to Gaborone.
