What is Camp Botswana?

Camp Botswana is a work experience opportunity and volunteering experience, blending cultural immersion, hands-on skills development and community service. Students get to explore Botswana’s rich cultural heritage, contribute to environmental sustainability projects, and engage with local communities, local children, and local wildlife.


Camp Botswana Children's Camp

Camp Botswana also runs children’s camps for kids in Botswana, giving them the chance to build confidence, make friends, try new activities, and enjoy adventure in a safe, supportive environment. Through outdoor challenges, creative activities, sports, and teamwork, children develop important life skills while creating unforgettable memories.

About Botswana

Camp Botswana takes you into one of Africa’s most magical destinations, where wilderness, culture, and adventure come together. From supporting local schools and animal sanctuaries to learning about world-leading conservation efforts, every day offers a chance to make memories, gain new skills, and experience Botswana’s natural beauty.

Locations

Camp Botswana has two locations:

Maun: Set on the edge of the Okavango Delta, our Maun camp offers an immersive nature and conservation experience, including time with local communities and volunteering at an elephant sanctuary.

Gaborone: Based in Botswana’s vibrant capital, our Gaborone camp combines community engagement, conservation, and cultural activities, from hiking Kgale Hill to traditional pottery and working with local children.
