Diploma in International Volunteering
Transform your overseas experience into a globally recognised diploma alongside your camp
Through our partnership with the Centre for Global Citizenship Studies (CGCS), students can now complete a Level 3 Diploma in International Volunteering alongside their Camps Abroad programme — earning UCAS points while gaining real-world experience.
This is not just volunteering.
It’s a structured academic journey that transforms what you do into something you can prove.
Students complete a 40-hour project placement during camp and use their experience as assessed coursework.
Why Add the Diploma?
Many students travel abroad — but very few can academically demonstrate what they learned.
The diploma is designed to integrate smoothly alongside the student’s experience, offering a clear framework before, during, and after their time abroad.
Delivered in partnership with CGCS, the programme follows an academic structure that supports students throughout their journey. All coursework and reflective tasks are completed remotely, allowing students to study flexibly at times that suit them.
This diploma allows you to:
- Earn up to 16 UCAS points
- Strengthen university & apprenticeship applications
- Evidence leadership, teamwork & resilience
- Gain an internationally recognised Level 3 qualification
You don’t just attend camp — you graduate from it.
