We are excited to offer a truly unforgettable adventure to Maun, in partnership with Camp Botswana. This residential experience is designed to take learning beyond the classroom, giving students the opportunity to explore Botswana’s incredible wildlife, rich culture and natural beauty while developing independence, confidence and leadership skills. From safari game drives and conservation visits to team-building challenges and campfire evenings, this trip promises a safe, structured and inspiring week of growth, discovery and lifelong memories.

Below you will find all the important information about the trip, including key details, the full schedule, payment information, and the required forms that must be completed and returned to secure your child’s place.

Dates: Provided by your school
Meeting point: School (departure 6:00 AM sharp) — return to school ≈ 6:00 PM on Saturday.
Location: Sedia Hotel in Maun (gateway to the Okavango Delta).

Below you’ll find the day-by-day programme:

Day 1 — Travel & Welcome

  • 06:00 am — Meet at school and depart for Maun. (Please bring a packed lunch for the journey.)
  • Arrival at Sedia Hotel and registration.
  • Tent allocation, camp T-shirt distribution and ice-breaker games.
  • Evening: campfire stories and group settling in.

Day 2— Elephants & River Cruise

  • Morning: visit Elephant Havens — interactive sanctuary session about elephant care and conservation.
  • Afternoon: sunset boat cruise along the Thamakalane River to enjoy birdlife and river scenery.
  • Evening: team-building games and campfire.

Day 3— Horse Riding & Bush Skills

  • Morning hike and horse-riding experience through a private reserve with wildlife viewing.
  • Afternoon: Bush Survival workshop — archery, outdoor cooking and basic life-saving skills.
  • Evening: hot chocolate, reflections and group sharing.

Day 4— Moremi Safari Adventure

  • Full-day safari game drive into the Moremi Game Reserve — wildlife spotting and photography.
  • Evening: camp activities and team games.

Day 5— Culture, Creativity & Camp Challenges

  • Morning: traditional pottery workshop — make a keepsake to take home.
  • Afternoon: swimming and poolside free time, plus the Camp Botswana “Amazing Race” challenge.
  • Evening: talent show and marshmallow campfire celebration.

Day 6 — Certificates & Return

  • Morning: certificate presentation and final group photos.
  • Depart Maun and travel back to school.
  • Approx. 18:00 — Arrive back at school.

Transfer the deposit to these bank details. Payment for the trip can be made in full, or you can pay in equal amounts on the 30th of every month to help spread the cost of the trip.
