Lobatse Trip

We are excited to offer a fun and memorable adventure to Lobatse, in partnership with Camp Botswana. This residential experience is designed to take learning beyond the classroom, giving students the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, build friendships, and develop independence, confidence, and leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment. Through exciting activities such as team-building challenges, outdoor adventures, creative workshops, and campfire evenings, students will gain new experiences while learning important life skills.

Daily Programme:

Thursday 19th March — Arrival & Adventure Activities

Arrival and registration at camp.
Welcome briefing, camp orientation, cottage/tent allocation and Camp Botswana T-shirt distribution.
Ice-breaker games followed by a leadership skills workshop to help campers build teamwork and confidence.

Late morning: zipline adventure, giving campers an exciting outdoor experience.

Afternoon: archery challenge, developing focus, patience and coordination.

Later activity: swimming and waterslides, relaxing and enjoying the camp facilities with friends.

Evening: dinner followed by a campfire skills and evaluation workshop, team-building games and “Highs and Lows” reflection time around the marshmallow campfire.
Bedtime.

Friday 20th March — Wildlife & Farewell

Morning: early morning exercises or hike followed by breakfast.

Morning activity: game drive, exploring the surrounding area and spotting local wildlife.

Mid-morning: snack break.

Late morning: certificate presentation celebrating the campers’ achievements.

Departure from camp and return journey back to school.
